Conversation with Photographer Daniel Tchetchik about “Facing the Sea” and Other Works, at the JCC

October 1 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

“Facing the Sea, May” by Daniel Tchetchik

Facing the Sea is a personal and social project created in collaboration between artist and photographer Daniel Tchetchik and the non-profit organization HaGal Sheli (My Wave). This body of work features portraits of participants from HaGal Sheli’s trauma-focused surf therapy programs who were directly affected by the October 7th events. Facing the Sea invites the viewers on a journey from the changing shoreline to the fragile interior landscape of the human spirit.

Facing the Sea is on exhibit at the JCC Gotthelf Art Gallery from August 24 – October 18.

Join Daniel on October 1st at 6 PM for a conversation discussing this project and his body of work. Tickets coming soon.
