
Mozer will offer a sneak peak of his latest documentary feature, Brothers in Blood, which tells the remarkable true story of rival Olympic judokas Saeid Mollaei and Sagi Muki. Set against the backdrop of the political tensions between Iran and Israel, the film follows their unlikely friendship, personal sacrifices, and pursuit of Olympic excellence. Through exclusive clips and behind-the-scenes insights, Mozer will discuss the making of the film, his research process, and the unique challenges of bringing deeply human stories to the screen.
Yariv Mozer is an Emmy Award-winning Israeli filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer renowned for his impactful documentary and narrative work. A graduate of Tel Aviv University, he has also headed production studies at Jerusalem Sam Spiegel Film School. In 2025, he received a News and Documentary Emmy for We Will Dance Again, his powerful exploration of the Nova music festival massacre. Yariv is an MGSDII Visiting Professor at SDSU.
