MGSDII Awards Three Full-Ride Scholarships to Participate in the Jerusalem Film Workshop in Israel this Summer
Three San Diego university students were accepted to participate in the prestigious Jerusalem Film Workshop (JFW) – Brett Goldstein (CSUSM), Andrew Norbeck (SDSU), and Colby Smith (SDSU). They will work with 24 students from across the globe on creating documentary films.
Their documentary film will premiere at the Jerusalem Film Festival, followed by screenings throughout the international film festival circuit. Additionally, as part of the scholarship award, the students will screen their films and speak at universities in San Diego about their experiences in Israel, and the filmmaking process.
The selected filmmakers, from all of over the world have arrived and started connecting – both with each other and with the leading figures of their films – on the best documentary set in the world: Jerusalem.
