The MGSDII is pleased to invite you to a virtual community conference, produced by the NYU Department of Hebrew and Judaic Studies. The MGSDII’s UCSD university partner, Professor Tom Levy, will give a talk titled, “David, Solomon and Edom: Reflections from the Edom Lowlands Regional Archaeology Project.” Professor Levy leads the MGSDII funded UC San Diego-Scripps and University of Haifa marine archaeology and climate change research project. The project allows students from San Diego to investigate the impact of long-term climate change and rising sea levels on the cultures of the eastern Mediterranean – at the Tel Dor field school on the coast of Israel.
