SDSU and Technion Joint Engineering Capstone Project (February 2019)

SDSU and Technion senior students will work together over Skype and Facebook for a year on a joint aeronautical engineering design capstone project. Under the direction of Professors Joseph Katz (SDSU) and Gil Yudilevitch (Technion), the teams of five students from each school will work together to develop an unmanned aerial vehicle. In May 2018, the Technion students visited SDSU to finalize and test their project. This unique opportunity allowed for exposure to their respective high tech industries’ practices and processes as well as cultures, with the hope of building and maintaining long-term relationships. The SDSU will travel to Israel in February 2019 to collaborate further and experience Israeli innovation firsthand.
