The MGSDII was excited to host Issi Doron, PhD, Head of the Center for Research and Study of Aging at the University of Haifa and Dilip V. Jeste, M.D., Director of the Stein Institute for Research on Aging at UC San Diego, for a conversation on how the elderly are particularly vulnerable under the current conditions of the pandemic. They discussed solutions and the recently MGSDII funded COVID-19 research collaboration.

The COVID-19 pandemic is creating unprecedented challenges for older people. We all need to find innovative solutions to support older persons and make sure their rights are respected.
